WHAT IS MUAY THAI?

Muay Thai is a martial art originating in Thailand that combines punches, kicks, knees, elbow strikes and clinching. It is known as the “Art of 8 Limbs” and is the inspiration behind Original 8.

It is a full body workout using heavy bag work, jump rope and pad work that help build strength and cardiovascular endurance, improve balance and coordination, develop self-defense and martial arts skills and increase your mental toughness. It is a great form of exercise for losing weight, toning muscles and improving overall fitness. For these reasons, Muay Thai has erupted in popularity in recent years and is practiced by fighters and fitness enthusiasts alike. Beyond its health and fitness benefits, Muay Thai can help children and adults build self-confidence, discipline and life skills like respect, responsibility and focus.
